Sparkling Wine Rinser

Principle Of Operation
A unique rinsing system specifically designed for the wine bottling industry:
  • through passage valve without any gasket or spring
  • PERRIER patented bottle's neck handling system
  • Rinsing head:
    • PERRIER rinsing machines are easy to use and conform to hygiene and safety requirements
    • Neck gripping system
    • Bottle’s turn around
    • Individual rinsing product collection: possibility to recycle the rinsing product
    • Last drop suction device (water and product rinser)
    • Open design - easy to clean: full drain or fluid circuits and stations
    • Permanent injection test which guarantees that all bottles were rinsed.
Rinsing Media
The machines are designed to be very versatile. Depending on the need, the PERRIER rinser can be configured to use compressed air, liquid (i.e. water or disinfection product) or even product (mainly for the distilled spirit industry). Multi-phase configuration can also be provided (i.e. water + nitrogen ).
Design Considerations
Over many years of making PERRIER rinsing machines and incorporating the valuable feedback from our customers, our machines have evolved to be highly effective at cleaning containers thanks to many original and patented features. The cleaning nozzles penetrate the neck of the containers to ensure the cleaning media can reach the base of the containers without leaving any dead zones. The grippers operate as “cam to open – spring to close” to prevent machine damage in case the wrong bottle is fed into the machine. We have developed a unique solution to remove the last drop of liquid media as the bottle is returned to the upright position, hence there is no contamination on the outside of the container. Our testing lab is fully equipped to test customers' applications and can recommend the best machine size/configuration for the job. Our machines are also designed to be very reliable and offer many years of trouble-free operation. The rinser can be supplied as a freestanding machine, modular unit to be integrated into synchro-block or as a turret for the mono-block integration.
Inherent Machine Quality
In addition to design considerations, the high quality for which our machines are famous is achieved by selecting the best materials for the application. We also use the most modern manufacturing methods available and make our parts to very close tolerances. Our employees have many years of experience building the equipment to high standards of performance and take personal pride in ensuring the integrity of the PERRIER brand.
Process Integrity
Since effective cleaning of EVERY container is of the highest importance, we have designed the machine to have several layers of process integrity assurance. In the case of low pressure of the rinsing media being detected the machine will stop and generate an alarm message. The same is true if a low vacuum condition is detected. Proper functioning and the presence of each nozzle is monitored during operation of the machine. “No bottle – No rinse” feature is standard on each rinser. PERRIER neck gripping facilitates perfect nozzle-to-neck alignment even for containers with imperfect geometry (i.e. leaning neck).
Quick Change Considerations
Our machines are designed and built to support the most progressive Quick Change concepts. The PERRIER changeover process is a true Quick Change process (not just tool-less) and supports Vertical Start up Concept. Once the setup is optimised during the first production run on a given format, it can be exactly replicated during the next changeover.
Environmental Considerations
Our machines are designed to be very lean and use the least possible energy to accomplish the task. PERRIER rinsers are designed to recapture the liquid rinsing media, filter it and reuse it. The longevity of the machine also minimises waste by ensuring that the resources are used efficiently.
Safety
We take safety seriously and all our machines meet or exceed the safety requirements of the respective jurisdiction. In addition, PERRIER machines feature various safety provisions that might not be required by law, but are very effective in enhancing the safety of the operating crew. We also have experience in supplying machines for hazardous locations in diverse jurisdictions.
Life Cycle Support
We strive to provide the most reliable equipment in the industry, however, even our machines need to be serviced. We have a comprehensive programme in place to provide world class service support to our customers. We maintain impeccable records on each and every machine, maintain critical spares inventory and offer fast turn around on tooling. Our service department offers training programmes as well as installation and overhaul services. In addition we offer conversion and upgrade kits to ensure that PERRIER machines meet the changing needs of the customer.

Sparkling Wine Rinser

Principle Of Operation
Filling principle especially designed for wines bottles:
  • Pure Gravity filler without vacuum
  • PERRIER patented bottle's neck handling system: positive transfer of the bottles, no more risk to chip off bottles, automatic handling and filling height adjustment
  • PERRIER filling valves:
    • fixed nozzles - easy to clean - without parts in movement
    • Ring bowl: ring bowl with restricted section without inner wall or crossing parts; constant filling product height for each filling valves
    • Wine circuit: filling wine feeding by the bottom and protection against oxygen pick-up
  • Structure of filling carousel: open design - easy to clean, minimum quantity of parts means minimum quantity of wear
  • Cleaning in place: complete on all fluid circuits, ensured full drains of fluid circuits and filling valves
  • Inerting: inert gas injection into the bottle just before filling. PERRIER technology prevents from oxygen pick-up sensitivity.
